Itanic is dying

This was long overdue, but now it brings me great joy to announce that Itanic is dead. First, major GNU/Linux server distros dropped future support and now Windows Server. This leaves Intel with one partner HP, so Itanic will continue to exist as long as HP keeps selling Integrity servers, then again HP can switch to Xeon or Opteron.

No one can stop the x86 train, not even Intel.

Verdict: Dead.
