Called my friend who is a big PSP evangelist and asked him "isn't the green light next to Power supposed to turn red before it dies?". He told me "no! but you can check the battery life by clicking Home". I turned it back on, and clicked Home immediately before it switches off and yup, it was dry AFTER ONLY 4 HOURS OF GAMEPLAY! And I had it on the lowest brightness setting!!
Ignoring all the awful hissing noise it makes and long load times was painful enough!!!

WHAT A LAME EXCUSE FOR A PIECE OF SHIT HARDWARE
I get 4x the gameplay time on my DS Lite!
The PSP is totally not useful for us who play JRPGs and spend hours grinding.
Shame I really love SMT: Persona, and would continue to play it, but now I must charge my PSP
I guess I should get me an extra battery, and that what I will do. Good thing I can get them for like $30
BTW, the game is purely awesome! Highly recommended for anyone unlucky to have a PSP.
